The principle
Launching a brand means creating its first impression. A launch poster must establish personality, values and recognition — often before anyone has heard of the product. Every choice signals who the brand is for.
Objective. Establish a fictional brand’s personality through a launch poster.
The brief
Invent a small brand — a tea company, a bicycle maker, an ice cream shop — and design the poster announcing its launch.
Constraints
- Write a short brand description first: name, audience, three values
- Design a simple wordmark or logo
- The poster must express all three values
You're done when
- A distinct brand personality
- Clear expression of the values
- A memorable launch poster
Stretch goal
Design a second, smaller application of the brand — a sticker, a cup, a label.
