Day 71: Distortion
Bend, stretch and warp until something new appears.

The principle
Distortion transforms familiar forms into unfamiliar ones. Stretching type, warping images, moving a document on a scanner bed or photographing through glass introduces happy accidents that you could never plan. The skill is in recognising which accidents are worth keeping.
Objective. Generate new forms through physical or digital distortion.
The brief
Design a poster for an electronic music night using type or images distorted by a physical or digital process.
Constraints
- Make at least ten distortion experiments before choosing
- Use at least one physical process — scanner, photocopier, water, glass, fabric
- The event name must remain recognisable
You're done when
- Visible, intentional distortion
- Evidence of experimentation
- A recognisable event name
Stretch goal
Document your experiments as a contact sheet and display it as a second poster.
