The principle
A manifesto is a public declaration of beliefs. Designers from the Futurists to Bruce Mau have written manifestos to define their principles and challenge others. After one hundred days, you have earned the right to say what you believe about design, creativity and your own practice.
Objective. Articulate and visualise your personal creative philosophy.
The brief
Design a poster expressing your personal creative philosophy.
Write a manifesto of five to ten statements. Then design a poster that is unmistakably yours.
Constraints
- Write the manifesto before designing
- Between five and ten statements
- Everything you have learned is available to you
- It must feel like your work
You're done when
- A clear, personal manifesto
- A poster in your own voice
- Evidence of everything you have practised
Stretch goal
Print it. Put it somewhere you will see it every day. Then start something new.
