The principle
Time pressure removes overthinking. With only ten minutes, there is no time to second-guess — you must rely on instinct and the skills you have built over the last 77 days. Speed exercises reveal what you have absorbed and what still requires effort.
Objective. Rely on instinct and accumulated skill under time pressure.
The brief
Set a timer for ten minutes and design a poster for a pop-up event of your choosing.
Constraints
- Exactly ten minutes from blank canvas to finished poster
- Stop when the timer ends, finished or not
- No preparation before starting the timer
You're done when
- Made within ten minutes
- Instinctive, confident decisions
- A readable poster
Stretch goal
Do it three times in a row with three different subjects.
